- The XC90 Recharge PHEV is available in a variety of new trims, including the T8 Core Bright Theme, T8 Plus, T8 Plus Bright Theme, T8 Plus Dark Theme, T8 Ultimate, T8 Ultimate Bright Theme, and T8 Ultimate Dark Theme.
- The T8 Inscription, T8 Inscription Expression, and T8 R-Design trims have been discontinued for 2023.
- XC90 Recharge PHEV trims have been upgraded with Heated Steering Wheel, Rear Seat Heaters, Head Up Display, and Power Hatch/Deck Lid as standard equipment this year.
- Adjustable Suspension and Leatherette & Cloth features are now available as options on select trims.
