Acura ILX: Reviews, Photos, and More | CarMax

There are many reasons why you may be looking for a compact car in your next vehicle search – the small size and maneuverability, especially for driving and parking in tight urban spaces, or the fuel efficiency. If you're in the market for a compact sedan, the Acura ILX is worth a look. Check out our Acura ILX review to learn more:

5 Reasons to Buy

1. Excellent standard features

It’s uncommon to find a sedan with standard features like a sunroof, rearview camera, heated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The 2017 Acura ILX offers this and much more in its Base trim.

2. Comfortable and spacious interior

Despite its compact size, the Acura ILX was designed with interior comfort in mind. There is enough space to seat up to three passengers in the rear row of seats, and there is a decent amount of head and leg room as well. The seats were designed with comfort for long road trips in mind, and though it has a lower profile, the sedan is surprisingly easy to get in and out of for those in the front and back rows.

3. Great available tech features

The 2017 Acura ILX offers some impressive tech features – some of which come standard and others require upgrades. The Technology Plus package, for example, offers a premium 10-speaker sound system, voice commands, and a navigation system. Standard tech equipment includes a multi-view back-up camera, Bluetooth® connectivity, and smartphone integration.

4. Easy handling and maneuverability

Its smaller size makes the Acura ILX a breeze to handle, even around sharp turns and in tight spaces. This makes the ILX a great vehicle choice for city dwellers.

5. Ability to customize

The Acura ILX comes with several trim options and available package add-ons for total customization. If you want a more sleek and stylish ride, the A-Spec package is a great choice. If you want more tech equipment, the Technology Plus package is available to suit your needs. This is a great vehicle for those who want to be able to really customize their ride with specific Acura ILX accessories.

Acura ILX Interior

"This car has great gas mileage, a quiet ride, and it is easy to handle. The back-up camera is great, but it could be a little larger. There is a good amount of leg room and trunk space. The sunroof and keyless entry are great as well.”
