Years in Review

2017 Chevrolet Bolt - The Chevrolet Bolt EV was launched in 2017 on an entirely new platform built specifically for this compact electric crossover. Its standard 947-pound flattened battery pack is integrated into the frame of the vehicle to help ground the vehicle and preserve interior cabin space.

2018 Chevrolet Bolt - There were no major changes for the 2018 Chevrolet Bolt. Minor fixes include seat adjustment for increased comfort, and in the Comfort and Convenience Package that is available on the LT trim and standard on Premier trim the steering wheel is now automatically heated.

What's New for 2019?

The 2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV remains largely the same as the previous model years, adds standard Tire Fill Alert to all trims, and additional exterior colors on the Premier trim: Green Mist Metallic, Slate Gray Metallic, and Shock.

The Bottom Line

The Chevrolet Bolt EV is a solid choice for drivers looking to switch from gasoline to battery-electric power. It gives you everything you're used to in a compact crossover, including a high driver's-seat view, flexible cargo capabilities, and offers lots of optional creature comforts.
