I was pleasantly surprised of the power this turbo charged 4 cylinder has. I’ve read it produces close to 300 hp. It feels like it.
I have the luxury version so the interior has all the bells and whistles and even though it’s a used car the interior and exterior seems brand new. flawless.
This is my second Cadillac. my first was an STS. The STS was famous for its handling and braking. This car has that same characteristics except this car has options that I can actually feel. Switch the suspension from sport mode to tour mode and I can actually feel the difference.
I mistakenly thought because it’s a 4 cylinder the gas mileage would be great. wrong, the gas mileage is OK. But it’s probably my fault I love feeling that turbo kick in.
The only thing I would change if I could is the gps speed. I’ve noticed that the gps on my phone is about 5 seconds faster than the cars gps, which makes a huge difference in my anxiety level driving somewhere new
The CTS V sport was a huge disappointment. I had a 2008 CTS v6 about 7 years ago and it was superior in every way, i always said “man if this was faster I’d never get another car” and this 2015 was faster but the 8 speed transmission was terrible. When slowing down to a stop, it sounded like the undercarriage was going to fall off. I got it checked out but they said “that’s normal” the seats were horrible, my 2008s seats were awesome i don’t understand why Cadillac would drastically improve their exterior, and then put zero effort into the interior, i hated it so much i only had it for 3 months then gladly paid off my negative equity to go back to a 2008 mustang, which is superior in every way now that i added gps/back up cam/sound system.
