Top notch quality and value!
The Cadillac XT5 luxury edition (in a lovely graphite gray) is perfect for our needs/lifestyle. It has a more stiff ride than you would expect, probably because of its sport option (at the push of a button), but aside from that there aren't any real complaints. It has all of the bells and whistles, and then some, as we've discovered on various outings. I love that it sits just high enough, so that you have more visibility than you would in a standard car. Easy open/close rear gate, and ample space in the back for groceries, golf clubs, suitcases, etc. A lovely blue glow along the interior of all doors (front/back), a very polite (yes, it really is!) navigation system; with ease of use, and back to front moonroof; which I absolutely love. The black leather seats are very comfortable, and we appreciate the lumbar range, which is more limited in other cars. There's so much more, I'd be here all day. Very, very pleased with this vehicle.
PROS
Technology and Entertainment
Just plug in (or bluetooth) your phone and go. Navigation is easy to use, beautiful sound quality, and it syncs up nicely with your phone navigation, if you so chose. Memory seats are a plus, as is the remote start option.
Interior Space
Very roomy, compared to other mid-sized vehicles we've checked out. Lots of room for car seats when we have our granddaughters or nephew, and easy to access anchors, for easy attachment and release.
Styling
It is beautiful to look at overall, in a lovely graphite gray colored exterior. We love the lights on the handles, and the headlight styling. As well as the interior lighting I've aforementioned.
CONS
Ride and Handling
It is just a bit more stiff than we'd like, but its a small issue to compare against everything else that we absolutely love overall.
Cabin Noise
There is a bit of cabin noise, due to the stiff ride I imagine, if the roads/fwys are rough. Otherwise it's completely fine.
Power
So this took some getting used to for us, but it idles almost as if it's not running at all, and then starts back up when you press the gas pedal. So it's not a jump start if you wiil, when you need to accelerate quickly. Our old '07 Camry XLE has more get up and go in her than this does, but honestly this type of vehicle isn't meant to be a zero to sixty in six seconds anyway. Just thought I should mention it, even though it is powerful aside from that.

I have never loved a car before but I love this one. Before now, cars were just to get from point A to point B. But the Cadillac car is wonderful to drive. Quiet, smooth ride, great sound system. No one Cotton Hill loved his so much!
