May 28, 2021 Outstanding road trip sedan
One of the largest sedans currently out there, this is a great road trip vehicle. Smooth, quiet ride, comfortable seats, good power, massive trunk. The infotainment system with Apple CarPlay is easy to navigate. It’s unfortunate these didn’t sell very well, but so many want trucks and SUVs nowadays. As a used vehicle, these are a great value. The only other comparable, affordable sedan of its size is the Toyota Avalon, and those are more expensive, and I’d argue are not as nice style-wise. If looking at Impalas, I’d recommend a 2016-2017 LTZ or 2018-2020 Premier with the convenience package (ventilated seats with memory) and the confidence package (automatic emergency braking and lane departure warning).
