LOVE this car!

I've had several cars over the years, and this car is my ABSOLUTE favorite! I had purchased a brand new 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander sport, and while I loved the car at first, it really lacked a lot of the features, sophistication, and handling that I love about my CRV. I'm a woman who is 5'11", and I prefer having a crossover at the very least, because I don't like rolling out of the car. I love the height of the seats, the room in the back seats and the HUGE amount of cargo space in the back. As a 4-cylinder, it really picks up and handles really well. I would love having a V6, but I love that this car not only conserves fuel naturally, but the ECO feature allows me to be fuel efficient and fill up my tank every couple weeks!

Pros

  • Ride and Handling: Picks up faster, navigates sharp/U-turns in a breeze, and rides smoothly
  • Technology and Entertainment: The XM radio, the MANY phone options, and camera views with the backup cam
  • Styling: The leather seats easy to clean and comfortable and the armrests in the front make it more so, the height of the seats makes is easier for those with longer legs, and it's just elegant inside

I heart my Honda CRV!!

I have grown to love my CRV. Honda is a brand name I trust as I've owned 4 of them. You don't get this car to tow a boat! The pick-up is surprising for a 4 cylinder and the gas mileage is great! you'll appreciate it every time you stop at a gas station. Cargo space is a plus as I was able to bring home a large piece of furniture and was amazed that it fit with no discomfort to me driving home. The seat comfort is a low issue for me as any long trip where your driving a car can get a little uncomfortable. Interior does look modest but it's not a luxury car! I've read other reviews on here and am surprised that one could view the price and options then expect more than they paid for! Overall, I am one satisfied owner!!

Pros

  • Fuel Economy:
  • Cost to Maintain:
  • Interior Space:

Great Car...Great CarMax Service

I bought this to be a "Toad" behind my motor home as none of my other vehicles were suitable for this. I was swayed by the quality and reliability of Honda products. This is fun to drive and is not under powered with the 2.4L engine. It tows perfectly behind the motor home. 2014 is the last year that the 4WD model is towable, I found this one like new with 4K miles at the time of purchase.

Pros

  • Reliability: Honda Quality
  • Cargo Space: Plenty of room I have it set up to carry two kayaks, two stand up paddle boards, and it has plenty of room inside for two of us and our gear
  • Value: Good pricing for the condition and mileage of the vehicle

Cons

  • Cabin Noise: It can be a bit noisy on rougher roads
  • Fuel Economy: Not as much MPG as I expected
