So far, I've had this vehicle in the shop far more than I've had it at home. I had to bring it back to CarMax due to numerous problems. CarMax has been fantastic and they are honoring their warranty, but so far, it's been to the Hyundai dealer 3 times: first to get a tune-up due to a "check engine" light (knock sensor... problem with spark plugs or coils). Then, it had to have the front shocks and rear struts along with all the bushings of the suspension replaced. Finally, I didn't even make it 2,500 miles before the oil level was so low that the lifters were sticking. After an oil change and about 1,000 miles, the oil was low again. I have learned that there was a class-action lawsuit with regard to the manufacturing process for the engine that is in my Tucson which causes the high oil consumption. The problem is that the first Hyundai dealer that CarMax took it to said that they won't replace the engine until the bearings actually fail. That could be very dangerous! So it is currently being checked out by another Hyundai dealer and the hope is that this dealer actually has common sense and honors the warranty. Since I purchased this vehicle 4 months ago, it's been in the shop longer than it's been at home and the laundry list of problems is huge. I will definitely continue doing business with CarMax but unless Hyundai pulls their head out of their rear and fixes this problem that is their fault, I think this will be the last Hyundai I ever own and if I could, I'd definitely go back to Honda... the only reason I didn't get a Honda in the first place was because they cost so much more, but at least I'd have avoided this disastrous headache. Oh well. You live and you learn.

Pros

Styling: It looks nice.
Value: For the price, I think it is a pretty good vehicle.
Cargo Space: Pretty good amount of cargo space.

Cons

Reliability: Nothing but problems since purchasing it and they are MAJOR problems.
Power: Power is adequate but nowhere near the Chevy Equinox and way behind the Ford Edge Ecoboost.
Fuel Economy: I though the gas mileage was okay until I drove a Chevy Equinox and Ford Edge Ecoboost of similar years. The Chevy beats it but the Ford outright blows it away!
