Jun 19, 2023 Engine died after 3 months of owning
I loved this car for 3 months. However, 3 months after buying from Carmax, the engine died. It's been at the Hyundai service garage for 2 weeks and I have yet to confirm whether they will replace. I hope they will since it is still 7,000 miles under my warranty expires. I have not yet received a loaner car so I am paying a car note on a car that I cannot drive. The guy at the garage said to expect to not have a car for 2 months because of the back-up with engine issues. This car has good reviews, but it sounds like the 2017 engine is a bit of a lemon. Beware. I hope Hyundai comes through for me.
