love my Tucson

PROS
Cabin Noise

it is amazingly quiet and has a smooth ride

Fuel Economy

good fuel economy, even on short city drives.

Ride and Handling

It has a smooth ride and handles very well at highway speeds.

CONS
Dashboard

a lot of extras to learn about and locate on the dash system...the extras are a plus but sometimes finding them is a negative.

Visibility

roof line and styling has reduced the rear visibility

Cost to Maintain

It appears that maintenance at mileage intervals may be more expensive but I have not had it long enough to be sure.

terrible purchase

PROS
Seat Comfort

The heated seats are great!

Cost to Maintain

5 year 60,000 miles warranty

CONS
Reliability

If it wasn’t because of the warranty, I would have had to pay to replace the two front axles that were broken and a part of one of the cylinders. The dealer was great with repairing the issue and providing a rental car while the work was being done.

Ride and Handling

Terrible takeoff. After it stalls, it takes off. Weird!

Value

The car is cheaply made. The back end literally pushes inward with a small tug and the inside trims around the carpet barely hold the carpet in place! Yes, the base carpet that is installed in the car! Nice looking car but terribly made.

Really like the features and room.

PROS
Technology and Entertainment

Lots of bells and whistles, you can set the cruise and it will automatically slow down when you get a few car lengths behind a vehicle. It does have auto braking, which stops you from rear-ending someone, it has steer assist, which keeps you in the lines of the road, only issue with steer assist (lane keep assist) is that when the lines disappear the computer gets a little confused, so keep your hands on the wheel. It has the auto brake hold feature, where you can put your foot on the brake at a stop light and push, then let off and you don't need to hold your foot on the brake.

CONS
Technology and Entertainment

It has the engine shut off feature, when the car stops it cuts the engine. I do not like that feature and you do have a button to turn it off. It is on when you turn the engine on though.
