What customers are saying

The 2016 Jeep Cherokee is praised for its smooth ride, bold styling, and impressive handling in various weather conditions. Its V6 engine offers strong performance but fuel economy varies, with mixed reviews for city efficiency. Technology is appreciated but some find settings overwhelming. While interior comfort is noted, space and visibility concerns arise. Reliability is generally solid.

Great Car

PROS
Power

3.2L v6 has more power than I expected.

Fuel Economy

The fuel economy on the interstate highways is much better than I expected (30MPG+-). Around town not so good, but acceptible.

CONS
Dashboard

Really not a con, but the dashboard can be configured in a massive number of ways. When I first drove the car, the warning announced that I was exceeding the speed limit (I was). It took YouTube to cue me in that that was a setting on the Navigation system.

Comfy 4x4

I'm getting almost 19 mpg in mostly city driving...I expected 15-16 before I purchased. Ride it even more comfortable than I expected. Great visibility/easy to drive safely. Handles great in moderately snowy conditions.

PROS
Fuel Economy

19 mpg average for a midsized SUV? Awesome!

Ride and Handling

Way more comfy than expected. I would still love it if it was a stiffer like like I thought it'd be.

Weather Versatility

Great handling of snowy, gravel, potholed, uneven, and even clean and dry roads.

Hate this car

First of all the car is a four cyclinder. Slow as molasses. It's loud and the vehicle is really compact inside. I bought it used with 19,000 miles on it. And it's in the shop. Something about he temperature gauge. The check engine light goes on which disables the restore start. It's like -5 outside and really could use that option right now. Had to wait a week to get into the Jeep dealer to be serviced and now have waited over a week for the part to come in. Very unhappy right now. I hear a knocking noise but the dealer service department says he doesn't hear anything. The sound comes and goes and drives me nuts cuz apparently no one but me hears it. Weird huh? Also, it's not quiet at all. You can hear outside noise. Trading in very soon.

PROS
Fuel Economy
CONS
Power

Has NO pick up speed. Scares me entering onto expressway

Interior Space

Cargo very small.

Cabin Noise

It's like riding with the windows down. Can't even hear music for all the noise.
