Van runs well, has good pickup, large capacity hatch. We like the stow and go back seats. You do feel more road bumps than some other vehicles, but the van handles well. Roomy interior with plenty of cupholders. I wish the CD player held more than one CD. Our first non-American made vehicle. I'd still prefer to buy American, but the price, the reliability and the availability of the vehicle were the best fit for us at the time.
Quality for a value price
2008 Kia SedonaSoccer Dad - Pennsylvania03/20/2009
Not enough can be said of the value of the Sedona. I test drove comparable competitors and did not find a discernible difference -- nothing that would make me shell out several thousand dollars more. It has everything I could want in a vehicle (loads of space, seven seats, comfortable ride, handles well). There are some little things too such as the windows that go down in the back, stow away third row, completely removable second row, V6 engine, and as a bonus it has a fantastic warranty and the best safety rating of any minivan.
Upgrade from an Outback
2015 Kia SedonaJoe Noel - Charlottesville, VA11/22/2016
We were cramming in 2 kids and a dog into an Outback before this so the extra room for us and all of our outdoor gear is a huge luxury. If you have small kids I highly recommend upgrading to the auto open side doors b'c the doors are a bit heavy for a small child to open. We have also owned a Jeep Commander which is similar in size and this drives way better and has lots more room. The only thing we had to give up was the 4-wheel drive. This is a great family vehicle at a price much cheaper than a Honda or Toyota.
