Q: What does E class stand for in the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350?

A: With a history over six decades in the making, the E in the E-Class is sometimes overlooked as to the meaning behind the name. In this case, the E stands for Einspritzmotor, the German word for a fuel-injected engine. Though it's common to have a fuel-injected engine today, not that long ago it was a unique feature, so when Mercedes released its initial line of fuel-injected vehicles, they became the E-Class, including the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350.

Q: How many people will the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350 seat?

The cabriolet convertible body style will seat four, as does the coupe, featuring a wood-trimmed center console for the rear seats as well as the front seats. Comparatively, the sedan will seat five, removing the rear center console, while the wagon includes a rear-facing third-row seat for a total capacity of seven people.

Q: How is the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350 Luxury trim different than the Sport trim?

A: The Sport trim level of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350 features a more aggressive appearance, perforated painted front disc brakes, a driver-selectable manual mode with shift paddles and a sport-tuned Agility Control® suspension. By comparison, the Luxury trim level includes a hard-drive-based navigation system, Harman/Kardon LOGIC7® surround sound system and a luxury-tuned Agility Control® suspension.

a great balance of luxury and sport

The E350 is a fine balance of luxury and sport, with Mercedes-Benz quality and confident feel.

  • Ride and Handling: luxury ride with sporty handling when you want it
  • Cabin Noise: I'm unusually sensitive to noise, and this car is surprisingly quiet
  • Braking: I've driven a lot of expensive cars, and most of them skimp on the brakes... not this car.

  • Interior Space: I'd love to have just a bit more leg room in the rear.

She is beautiful!

The car is absolutely beautiful and runs according to specifications. I have issue with the tapping sound the engine makes. It’s too loud for my taste. I wouldn’t buy it again but for now I’m enjoying its look and how much fun it is to drive.
