What customers are saying

The Porsche 911 impresses drivers with precise handling, iconic design, and effortless power. Praised for daily driving capability and balanced performance, it earns acclaim as both a thrill-seeking sports car and a practical choice. However, maintenance costs, cabin noise, and limited storage are common trade-offs. Its reliability, braking, and enduring styling enhance its standout appeal.

Great Car - Make Sure You Want It!

PROS
Power

this is my third 911 so I enjoy them but they require lot of things from you. you need to be excited each time you get into it or it will wear you out. it’s low, visibility isn’t great especially rear views, it’s not good to go to the shopping center or mall parking lots, it’s a great drivers car for the highway, city driving is ok, but with a stick and turbo, a Camry is more comfortable or an SUV. Then there is the hype over 911’s, endless streams of advice, suggestions, do this, don’t do that, advisors, pre purchase inspection experts, etc etc. I don’t work in my car, I wouldn’t even try. luckily, this is a more modern 911 than it other cars, starting with a 1985 911S Targa which I loved as it was very simple and never had any issues. it had 165 HP, so with a sub 3000 pound car it was fine and sounded great. I got talked into buying a 1984 911 which was beautiful in a light or medium blue metallic and leather interior - a coupe with a stick transmission. it was more powerful than the former 911 but I got the feeling that Porsche was adding more interior luxury and really didn’t enhance the overall vehicle or power. This is a 991 and it’s a great vehicle that gets me past the 996 series which has the “cracked egg headlights” really ugly. the 997 is a nice series and I just got lucky to find this car at a decent price. it had just 15,000 miles on it and felt brand new. I’ll probably keep this for a long time (hopefully) since as they get closer to the newer models, the whole ballgame has changed. Today there are a lot of very wealthy kids who want 911’s and other high end cars and they have the money to throw at them. Porsche and others have really uppped their luxury game to the point that when you sit in any one of the super luxury sports cars, you don’t even know which is which. they feel like a video game when driving it and you get zero connection feeling to the road. and the power is insane so there are tons of accidents by young drivers who don’t have any training or driving skills for these vehicle, which hg the way, can start at over $200,000 and go up from there. crazy prices. if you really want to get a 911, take several for a drive first and see how you like the driving experience. it is very low, you must pay attention 100% of the time - I nevernkaisten to the sound system unless I’m in a highway for several hours, even the I usually just drive. finally, make sure you shop around. the prices have gone up but the truth is there are tons of Porsche 911’s around for sale. why? because they’re really not for everyone. it takes a lot of attention to drive one and there’s plenty of power which you need to be aware of. I hope you take my afvicr and if you find yourself even more interested once you take a few for a receive, enjoy it!!

Ride and Handling

you need to drive it on a good road - this isn’t a car to take on a jumpy or cracked up backroad - highway or well maintained local roads onky

Value

if you buy it right it will maintain its value - and you just keep records of every single maintinscenitem you do to the vehicle. get it stamped and documented, you’ll be happy you did if you want to sell it one day

CONS
Visibility

rear visibility is nearly none unless you have a rear camera, front viability is fine, but it’s a small car so you must stay aware of your surroundings at all times

Cargo Space

I can fit two soft weekend bags in the front cargo hold. if I need more, the rest tiny seats fold down and I can stick another one maybe two bags atop the folded down seats. but that’s it. I don’t plan gold so I don’t worry about a bag but it would be digit to fit your golf clubs in a 911.

Cabin Noise

it can be a bit loud if you are tired so rollup the windows and turn in the AC or heat and keep it under 3000 RPM and it will settle down.

Awesome Porsche 911

PROS
Ride and Handling

Fantastic bucket-list experience to own and drive a 911. Great visceral pleasure to hear the melodious growl of the flat 6 naturally-aspirated engine and the unique feeling of driving my dream car.

Styling

Classic Porsche 911 lines which i.m.o. is one of the best-looking 911s ever produced.

Reliability

Though I drive it mostly on weekends, I could see the 911 being used as a daily driver.

CONS
Visibility

Rear visibility is very poor and there is no back-up camera making it tedious when backing up at shopping mall parking lots where there are many pedestrians to look out for. Currently trying to find an after-market back up camera.
