Overall it's hard to beat the reliability and the ease of maintenance. I like to have the choice of maintaining the simpler things like breaks and exterior sensors and Subaru has always done a good job on most of their models, except changing spark plugs on the Tribeca, that's a real chore!!!
Weather Versatility
I live up in the Sierra's so the seasonal weather can be challenging. This car if a good compromise between a commuter car and winter traveling in the mountains, Tahoe ski trips and the like.
CONS
Technology and Entertainment
The head seals leak a small amount of oil and sometimes gets onto the exhaust manifold. The smell of burning oil then gets into the cabin, not pleasant. If i clean it once a month or so it's not an issue.

This car runs like a dream. It has a very smooth ride and good mileage. But the most important facets of this car's makeup are the safety features. I feel very confident driving my Subaru with the warning signals, backup camera, and so much more that contribute to a superior, safer ride than my last car.
