2015 Subaru Outback Reviews

4.8 out of 5 (12 reviews)

Great car at a great price.

Rich with features and quality components. It is sure footed and gets great gas mileage.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: Once I learned how to best drive my Subaru, I get between 30-33 mpg’s!
  • Ride and Handling: Sturdy, stable and sure footed. It has a moderate ride height but handles more like a car. Super smooth too.
  • Value: Although purchased used, my Subaru is packed with features and even has a strong feel of luxury. I got a ton for my money.

Cons

  • Cabin Noise: It’s a bit noisy (loud) when traveling on rough roads (highways) but quiets down considerably when on smooth pavement.
  • Seat Comfort: The heated leather 8 way power seats are a plus but don’t fit me well. I do feel fatigued after even moderate trips. The leather sets get crazy hot in warm temps (from body heat) and can get uncomfortable.
  • Technology and Entertainment: Even with all the bells and whistles, I find that some of the tech feels outdated.

Just the car I was looking for!

I wanted an AWD vehicle with all the safety features and excellent ratings in crash tests. This car has it all.

Pros

  • Weather Versatility: It will get up our steep, rocky driveway in the winter.
  • Seat Comfort: The seats fit me perfectly and best of all they are heated.
  • Visibility: Excellent visibility all around the car.

Cons

  • Fuel Economy: I’m getting 28mpg but I knew lower gas mileage is the trade-off with a bigger and heavier vehicle.

love my subaru

great car! the symmetrical awd is top notch. love the way it drives and the features

Pros

  • Ride and Handling: symmetrical awd makes for smooth ride rain or shine or snow
  • Cargo Space: roof rack, tow hitch and cargo space in hatch
  • Seat Comfort: heated seats front and rear!

Cons

  • Fuel Economy: came from owning a small chevy, it hurt a little to fill up the first time, but it does have a larger tank and comparatively to other pros vs cons its well worth it
  • Technology and Entertainment: radio/front speakers cut out when receiving notifications through bluetooth or navigation, then never come back on, navigation audio cuts out.
