Reviews for 2018 Toyota Camry

Overall Rating

4.5 out of 5 (51 reviews)

great car for the bucks

this car is vary good on gas especially now that gas prices are ridiculously too high I think I bought it at the right time, and with it 8 speed transmission it has get up and go power, and it has a nice looking body that just turns head's when you're driving down the street. I love this car.

  • Fuel Economy: I can drive from LA to Vegas on a tank of gas.
  • Reliability: I've owned other Toyota Camry in the past and never had any major problems with any of them, they are very reliable.
  • Styling: I like the aggressive looking grill and the side spoilers on this car.

  • Power: take off power isn't so great, but once it gets going it really goes.
  • Seat Comfort: the driver seat is powered, and passenger seat isn't.
  • Technology and Entertainment: I don't like that there's no speakers mounted on the back dashboard.

Thought Toyota was a quality vehicle

I’ve had a major issue with rain water pooling in the rear floorboard, during the rainy spring i spent countless hours vacuuming inches of water out of rear floorboards. Been to three dealerships to fix problem and none can find the problem. Noisy engine, road noise is also loud and transmission is very jerky and slow to downshift.

  • Fuel Economy: Close to 40 without trying!
  • Power: Has enough power
  • Seat Comfort: Comfy even on long rides

  • Cabin Noise: Very loud like a window is always down

Would not buy it again

This is the smallest Camry we have owned. At over 6 feet tall it is a pain in the get in and out of. On damp or wet days water drips off of the roof onto the seat when you open the door. We like Toyotas, this is our third Camry and maybe our last. The interior space seems to be much smaller than older model Camrys.

  • Fuel Economy: Gas milage
  • Power: Seems to have adequate power
  • Value: For the $ it seems like a good deal

  • Interior Space: Seems very small
  • Dashboard: Every thing feels too close
  • Technology and Entertainment: System is not user friendly
