The styling or the interior is gorgeous, simple yet elegant. Just enough features to be modern, but not overwhelming. The legroom in the backseat is huge, someone who is 6 feet tall still has plenty of room to stretch out. Gas mileage is wonderful as well. I average about 35 city and 41 highway.

Shoddy construction of handles, switches etc. Extremely poor electronics: slow and delayed response to GPS input and radio station changes. Worst radio I've ever used. Headlights and tail lights are antiquated halogen technology and very dull putting out too little light. Car had an excellent engine, but the car around it... Poor. I would not buy another Volkswagen nor would I recommend one based on my experience. I traded it in within 6 months.
