Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.25 reviews) It's a nice SUV to drive. It handles more like a car than it's competitors. It's front passenger seat folds forward flat so you can fit an 8' long item inside without going up on the dashboard. The sacrifice for the performance is the fuel economy. It's more like a 6 than a 4 cylinder. I suppose the turbocharger accounts for that. I get an average of 21 mpg and since it requires premium fuel it's not that economical when you compare it to a CRV or a RAV4. But it's much more stylish than those little SUVs.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.25 reviews) I needed a vehicle that I could put stuff in, get good gas mileage, and not hate to drive. I hadn't even considered this vehicle until my father informed me about a good review he had read on it and suggested I check it out. One (of many) great feature is the front passenger seat folding forward and almost completely flat. This allows me to put long items like a decent size ladder in there (almost 8' to the dashboard). Then there's the performance which far exceeded many of the competitors in my opinion. The handling is great, the acceleration is quick and the economy is reasonable for the performance it delivers. It completely fit my needs for a vehicle to use for personal use, occasional work use and hauling my bass guitar and equipment. No regrets and no real issues after a month and the vehicle was almost 3 years old when I bought it.

Great multi-purpose car/crossover

Third VW

I am an avid VW fan!! My Tiguan is my 3rd VW, the first being a vintage "Sun Bug" from the 70's and my 2nd being a Passat. I love my Tiguan...I wanted a Crossover that is not too big, with the reliability of a VW, and the Tiquan fit my needs perfectly! Although I purchased it used, the condition both inside and out is pristine, and the ride and comfort is exactly what I expect in a VW. I love the hatchback, and not having to bend down "into" the trunk to load and unload groceries, etc. Overall, this is once again another great car from VW.....
