If you’re looking for an electric SUV with coupe-like good looks, the 2024 Audi Q4 Sportback is a great choice. Part of the first generation, introduced in 2022, the Sportback model features a few revisions for 2024, including extra tech features and newly standard adaptive cruise control.

1. Revised for 2024 

The Q4 e-tron sportback has been updated for 2024 with a new digital instrument panel as well as standard navigation. 2024 models also get newly standard adaptive cruise control and lane-centering. If you live in a colder climate, you’ll also appreciate that heated front seats are now part of the base-level equipment too. 

2. Practical range 

The 295-hp dual-motor powertrain is the only option available on Sportback models. It features an 82-kWh battery that’s good for an EPA-estimated range of 242 miles when fully charged.

This means you’ve got plenty of driving ahead of you before you need to stop and charge on a road trip. For most people, that’s enough for more than a week of trips to and from the office. 

3. Quick to charge 

If you’re charging out and about, look out for a DC fast charging station that can take you from 5% charge up to 80% in around 36 minutes. This gives you and the family enough time to use rest-stop facilities, grab some snacks, or head off to explore the local area. If you’re charging at home, you can be fully charged in nine hours using a 240-volt power outlet — or even more quickly if you have a dedicated home charger. 

4. High-tech features 

If you’re looking for something high-tech that’s not too over the top, the Q4 e-tron Sportback is a great choice. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, an eight-speaker sound system, and two USB ports. The standard interior ambient lighting is also a nice touch that elevates the in-cabin experience at night time, but you should look out for available features too — the 10-speaker Sonos® sound system is a particular highlight from the options list. 

5. Luxury cabin 

The Q5 e-tron Sportback seats five people in firm but comfortable seats. There’s plenty of space but the sloping roofline of the Sportback model means that taller passengers might feel more comfortable up front. The standard leather upholstery and eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat further add to the luxury feel of this SUV.
