Stylish supercar
The Audi R8 was completely designed for 2017, but the car keeps its flagship qualities, including a comfortable interior, lightning-fast acceleration, and an air of elegance. The 2017 Audi R8 comes standard with a V10 engine that pairs with an automatic transmission. Although there’s no longer an option for manual transmission, you won’t even miss it, given how outstanding the R8’s performance is. And yet, the 2017 R8 is still practical for daily driving, as long as you don’t want to bring many people or much cargo along.

5 reasons to buy the 2017 Audi R8
1. Impressive acceleration
Even Iron Man drove an R8 in his most recent film, and you’ll feel like a superhero when you get in this supercar. The 2017 R8 comes standard with a 5.2L V10 engine that produces 540 hp on the V10 trim level, and 610 hp on the V10 plus trim. Whichever trim you choose, you’ll blast from zero to 60 in 3.2 seconds, which is simply astounding.
2. Performance features
The Audi R8 delivers massive power, while the performance features on the car make the drive feel effortless. Adaptive magnetic-ride suspension dampers come standard, while carbon-ceramic brakes and variable-ratio steering are available options to increase responsiveness. Adjustable drive settings, which come standard, make sure the Audi is performing its best whether you’re on the track or driving to work.
3. Carbon fiber styling
Do you love to make a big impression with your outfits? The 2017 Audi R8 can do the same, thanks to its carbon fiber exterior and interior trim, which is an available option. Pair that with the available red-painted brake calipers, and your 2017 Audi R8 will be especially show-stopping.
4. Comfortable seats
With so many impressive features, you’ll want to spend a lot of time driving the Audi R8. Luckily, you’ll be comfortable when you do that, thanks to standard 18-way adjustable seats, which come with adjustable sides and leg supports. Coupled with standard leather upholstery and automatic climate control, those seats deliver all the support you need for quick jaunts or longer drives.
5. Track-ready trim
The 2017 Audi R8 can hold its own for daily commutes. But if you really want to try your skills on the track, choose the R8 V10 Plus trim, which emphasizes performance. This trim comes with a 610-hp 5.2L V10 engine, carbon-ceramic brakes, a sports suspension, and “Performance” drive mode. A smaller fuel tank, non-reclining seats, and a five-speaker audio system on this trim save weight in order for more power to go toward break-neck acceleration.
