5 reasons to buy the 2015 Audi R8
1. Power
The R8 is a supercar, and it delivers a suburb amount of power. The standard 430-hp 4.2L V8 can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds. For even more speed, choose the available 5.2L V10, which produces either 525 hp or 550 hp, depending on trim. With that engine, you can zip from zero to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds.
2. Terrific transmissions
When you’re behind the wheel of the 2015 Audi R8, you’ll feel like you’re in control of a serious machine. The standard six-speed manual transmission delivers a hands-on driving experience. Or, enjoy all the science and engineering behind the standard Audi S-tronic® dual-clutch automated manual transmission.
3. Available convertible
There’s something so iconic about the idea of driving a sports car up the coast with the wind in your hair. That image can become reality in the 2015 Audi R8, thanks to the available convertible body type. The power soft-top is easy to move up or down with the push of a button, so you won’t need to worry about the risk of rain.
4. Day-to-day comfort
The 2015 Audi R8 is outstanding, but it is also functional for daily commuting or errands. The eight-way adjustable heated leather seats are very comfortable, even on long drives. Visibility is great even in the coupe, and the ride is smooth thanks to the standard adaptive suspension.
5. Solid sound systems
The 2015 Audi R8 makes it easy to listen to your playlist, thanks to the standard Bluetooth® connectivity. A seven-speaker sound system comes standard, but a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system is available on all trims. With that audio equipment playing your favorite tunes, your drive will pass in a flash.
