5 reasons to buy the 2023 BMW i4
1. Great performance
The 2023 BMW i4 isn't short on performance. New for 2023, the entry-level i4 eDrive35 has 281 hp from its single motor and posts a zero to 60 mph time of 5.8 seconds (according to the manufacturer, when new). The i4 eDrive40 has 335 hp for slightly faster progress, but if you want true sports car pace, the all-wheel-drive, dual-motor M50 is the i4 for you. With 536 hp, it has a zero to 60 mph time of just 3.7 seconds (according to the manufacturer, when new).
2. Good electric range
The single-charge driving range of the 2023 BMW i4 will keep you from spending a lot of time at electric charging stations. On 18-inch wheels, the i4 eDrive40 can travel an EPA-estimated 301 miles on a full charge.
Even with its added performance, the i4 M50 with 19-inch wheels covers an EPA-estimated 271 miles when fully charged. Whether you're on the highway or doing the school run, the i4 has enough range for all your everyday driving scenarios.3. Responsive sports sedan
If you like driving, you'll love the 2023 BMW i4. Even though it weighs 4,665 lbs in the eDrive40 specification, the i4 feels light on its tires, and it grips the road superbly. Responsive steering lets you change direction quickly, but you're still treated to a comfortable ride. If you want a dynamic-feeling sports sedan that can tackle winding coastal roads, the i4 is a great choice.
4. Luxurious interior
Because the i4 is based on the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, you can expect the same level of luxury. The interior of the 2023 BMW i4 features high-end materials like synthetic leather, metallic finishes, and soft-touch plastics. BMW's new curved display—a pair of 12.3-inch and 14.9-inch screens—is a prominent feature. With sharp graphics and all the information you could ever want at your fingertips, the display adds a high-tech touch to the i4's cabin.
5. Feature-filled trims
All 2023 BMW i4 trims have plenty of features to please you and your passengers. The entry-level eDrive35 trim has Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay®, and Bluetooth® connectivity, plus four USB ports to charge your crew's devices. A powered glass moonroof is standard on all trims, while i4 eDrive40 and M50 trims include multi-zone climate control.
