5 reasons to buy the 2015 Cadillac ATS
1. Sporty engines
The 2015 Cadillac ATS has three available engines with a range of power to meet your driving needs. The base engine is a 2.0L four-cylinder with 202 horsepower, perfect for the everyday commuter. The optional four-cylinder adds a turbocharger, and this 2.0L blasts out 272 hp to make quick work of on-ramps. This engine features upgrades for the 2015 model year, and you’ll notice the increased torque. Finally, the optional 3.6L V6 generates 321 hp for effortless highway passing.
2. Impressive performance
The ATS features a chassis designed for handling, with nicely weighted steering and a suspension that stays flat and composed through any corner. The highest Performance trim level has a different suspension setup that electronically adjusts the suspension thousands of times per second. This has the benefit of maximizing performance, while simultaneously creating a comfortable ride for your passengers.
3. Stunning coupe styling
Sometimes it’s all about the aesthetic. The 2015 Cadillac ATS offers a four-door sedan or, new for 2015, a two-door coupe. It rides on the same capable chassis and suspension, but is lighter than the sedan, making for an even more engaging and agile drive. All-new bodywork looks borrowed from a stealth fighter, and paired with standard 18-inch alloy wheels and Brembo® brakes, it’s a formula that looks as great as it goes.
4. Luxurious interior
Have a seat in the sumptuous interior of the Cadillac ATS. With comfortable leather seats, shifter, and steering wheel, optional open-pore wood trim, and full-color head-up display, it’s designed to impress. Standard six-way power seats have power lumbar adjustability and optional heating elements. The CUE infotainment system has available 4G LTE WiFi that can connect to seven devices, navigation, and available Bluetooth® connectivity.
5. Optional AWD
All-wheel drive can offer confidence in the worst weather conditions. If you are hesitant about driving a rear-wheel drive car in winter, look to the 2015 ATS with optional AWD. This is an automatic system that works without driver input. Simply enter a corner, during rain, snow, or even dry weather, and the torque biasing adusts wheel power as needed to grip through the corner. The active transfer case can send all power to just the front or rear wheels as needed, making the ATS an all-weather hero getting you home from work in the most inclement weather.
