The 2024 Ford F-350 does not have significant upgrades for this model year but carries over a host of upgrades from 2023 including new styling and more modern technology. For example, the center console turns into a desk, there’s an onboard generator mounted into the bed, and there are various driver assists that make it easier to haul and tow. The 2024 F-350 is also built for hauling and towing. When properly equipped, the 2024 F-350 has an estimated max towing capacity of 40,000 pounds and an 8,000-pound payload rating with the diesel engine. 1. Tough engine options 

There are a few different engine options available in the 2024 Ford F-350. Look for one of two different gasoline-powered V8 engines or the Power Stroke diesel V8. The diesel option is a 6.7L with up to 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque — this is the one for you if you're looking for maximum capability. 

2. High-tech amenities 

When driving a work truck, you no longer have to settle for outdated technology. The 2024 F-350 offers adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, as well as an eight-inch infotainment screen (with larger options available). Perhaps most helpful is the updated tailgate technology, which includes power opening and closing capabilities. Another option is sensors and a camera in the top rail of the tailgate to assist when backing up with the tailgate down. 

3. A mobile office 

You might use your truck as a second (or first) office, and the 2024 Ford F-350 is here for it. First, the center console conveniently turns into a desk. In addition, in-cabin power options and a high-speed 5G data connection make it easy to connect to the office or needed networks.

 

4. Extreme towing and hauling capabilities 

The 2024 Ford F-350 is almost certainly able to meet your needs for towing and hauling heavy loads. When properly equipped, it provides up to an estimated 8,000-pound payload capacity and can tow up to an estimated 40,000 pounds with a gooseneck trailer with the diesel engine.

If you're hauling a conventional trailer, you'll get an estimated 13,700 pounds with the diesel when properly equipped.

5. Powerful trailer assistance 

To help assist in hauling heavy loads, whether it’s construction materials or a pontoon boat, the 2024 Ford F-350 offers several trailering-assist features. For example, the truck includes onboard scales with Smart Hitch, which can estimate your cargo weight and offer guidance for how to best distribute that weight. The truck also includes Trailer Navigation, a GPS tool that can optimize your travel route based on your trailer’s dimensions and the weight of your load.
