5 reasons to buy the 2016 Ford Expedition
1. Lots of cargo space
The 2016 Expedition is ready for a long camping weekend or just a trip to the home improvement store. You'll get 18.6 cu-ft behind the third row in the Expedition and 42.6 cu-ft in the longer Expedition EL. Drop the back two rows, and you'll get a massive 108.3 cu-ft and 130.8 cu-ft in the Expedition and Expedition EL, respectively.
2. Potent turbo V6
It's got impressive power under the hood as well. The Expedition gets 365 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque from its 3.5L turbocharged V6 engine. That means you can tow up to 9,200 pounds when properly equipped.
So it's ready for a fun weekend on the lake or a big RV adventure.3. Great standard features
Search for the 2016 Expedition XLT, and you'll get many standard comfort and convenience features. You'll find features like cruise control, air-conditioning, a six-way power driver seat, a 4.2-inch center display, a rearview camera, power-adjustable pedals, a sliding and reclining 40/20/40-split second-row seat, and a fold-flat third-row seat. That's some pretty impressive stuff for a base trim level.
4. Lots of options
Search our lots for two great packages available on the XLT. First, the 201A package adds standard leather upholstery (first and second-row), automatic wipers, a power liftgate, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped shift knob, an eight-way power driver seat, a power-folding third-row seat. If you come across the 202A package, you'll get options like a heavy-duty trailer tow package, heated and cooled front seats, and a ten-way power passenger seat with power lumbar adjustment.
5. Top-spec trims
If the XLT with some option packages still isn't quite enough, search for the Expedition Limited. In addition to the optional XLT packages, it adds front parking sensors, power-folding mirrors, heated second-row seats, and a wood-trimmed steering wheel. The western-themed King Ranch gets premium leather upholstery, a wood-grain interior trim, a special paint scheme, and upgraded headlights, while the Platinum is similar but with more chrome instead of the western theme.
