2020 Ford Transit Connect review

If you need a new van for your small business, or your work requires a new fleet vehicle for several drivers, the compact 2020 Ford Transit Connect cargo style can easily navigate busy city streets and rural gravel driveways. As far as storage space, you have a few options thanks to the two wheelbase choices. The XL and XLT trims come with either a short-wheelbase offering 103.9 cu-ft of storage space behind the front seats or a long-wheelbase with a bigger 128.6 cu-ft of cargo room in the rear. The 2016 Ford Connect Transit can also tow an estimated 2,000 lbs with the standard engine when properly equipped.

2. Passenger transport 

Whether you have a large family or need a van to transport people for work, the 2020 Ford Transit Connect comes in three capable wagon trims: XL, XLT, and Titanium. The XLT trim features either seating for five with a second-row bench behind the front seats on the short wheelbase option or adds third-row seating on the long wheelbase option to accommodate up to a total of seven passengers. The XL and Titanium wagons only come in the long wheelbase, with seating for seven.

Is this your first time driving a van? The 2020 Ford Transit Connect's compact style and many handy features will make it simple for you. There's also a four-speaker sound system, a USB port, and Bluetooth® connectivity. Going with a wagon? You'll get all of the above and power windows by the second row of seating, cruise control, a rear-window defroster, six cup holders, and cloth upholstery. 

5. Modern tech options 

If you want oodles of tech and connectivity in the wagon-style 2020 Ford Transit Connect, look for the Titanium trim. It comes loaded with remote ignition, keyless entry/ignition, heated front seats, a six-way power driver's seat, HD Radio™, and integrated navigation.

 There's also dual-zone climate control to keep passengers from front to back of the van comfortable. And let's not forget the tunes! There's a nine-speaker sound system and available satellite radio to make time on the highway pass a bit faster.
