Rugged off the streets but luxury in the seats
There are few vehicles available that can overcome the kind of rough terrain conditions like mud, rocks, snow, sand, and grass that the 2018 Range Rover Sport can. Once that reality sinks in, consider that its handing rivals that of many sporty sedans, and its interior is as plush and quiet as it gets in an SUV. The base SE trim level is equipped with a 3.0L 340-hp with 332 lb-ft of torque, while the top-of-the-line Supercharged Dynamic V8 offers 518 hp.

Driver-assist features like lane-keeping, driver drowsiness detection, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and speed limiting are available in an optional Drive Package. It also offers traffic sign recognition to inform the speed limiter when activated. head-up display, blind spot assist, and adaptive cruise with high-speed emergency braking are available with a Drive Pro option package if you want to optimize your driving experience.
Two helpful Park packages are available with cameras to assist you with backing in and out of spaces, or when parallel parking is your best option. Dynamic stability control and advanced braking systems are available to slow the vehicle around corners or when harsh braking is required.
3. Four roof options
A metal, color-matched roof is suitable for some premium SUV owners, but you aren’t just any SUV owner. You may opt for models that include a fixed panoramic roof. Keep snacks or beverages cold with an optional console refrigerator compartment, and wear the Activity Key wristband while you go cycling or swimming. Slide your skis through the folding center rear seat and confidently head off to the slopes on heated seats, even when snow accumulates on the roads.
5. A rugged plug-in hybrid with a smooth ride
The 2018 Range Rover is the first to offer a PHEV option. When fully charged, the vehicle can travel on all-electric mode for an EPA-estimated 31 miles when fully charged.
The combined gas and electric motors deliver a combined 398 hp. The 2018 Range Rover Sport’s air suspension offers a smooth ride with all four tires on the ground, even when the surface is uneven. The vehicle lowers when the tailgate is opened to make loading your luggage easier or when traveling at cruising speeds starting at 65 mph. The Terrain Response functions enable you to set up the vehicle gearbox, engine, and chassis to optimize for on- and off-road conditions.Shop with your budget in mind
