The 2024 Lexus NX 450h+ offers a fuel-efficient luxury SUV experience
The Lexus NX 450h+ returns for 2024 for its third year and is relatively unchanged from the 2023 model. The hybrid SUV offers seating for five, a roomy and comfortable cabin, and an impressive all-electric driving range.
The plug-in hybrid lets drivers use only power from the onboard electric battery. Run out of charge? No problem: The NX 450h+ operates like a normal hybrid, with phenomenal fuel economy to boot. You can go an EPA-estimated 37 miles on a single charge or get an EPA-estimated 35 miles per gallon on gas alone. Fuel economy figures are based on EPA estimates for when vehicle sold as new. Actual mileage will vary based on things like battery age, vehicle condition and history, driving and charging habits, accessory use, and driving conditions. Battery capacity may decrease with time and use. See fueleconomy.gov for more info.
In addition to featuring a luxurious interior, the NX 450h+ is pretty quick for an SUV. You can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 7 seconds, which makes getting onto a highway or passing a slow vehicle a breeze.

What We Like
Comfort: The front seats are well-padded and comfortable, and the ride quality is impressive. The NX 450h+ is also reasonably quiet when in all-electric mode, and the controls for everything from climate control to audio are easy to reach and use.
Fuel economy: You can go nearly 40 miles using nothing but electricity, which might allow you to commute without using any gas. If you do need to dip into the fuel tank, you'll get an EPA-estimated 35 miles per gallon.
Solid technology: The NX 450h+ comes standard with a 14-inch touchscreen that's easy on the eyes and easy to use. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ with wireless connectivity both come standard, as do driver aids like adaptive cruise control and blind-spot warning.
What Needs Improvement
Cargo space: The NX 450h+ has a high load floor, which means that you lose a bit of storage and it can be challenging for shorter passengers to load gear into the trunk. With 22.7 cubic feet of rear storage space, it has less than competitors like the Genesis GV70, which offers more than 28 cubic feet of storage.
