5 reasons to buy the 2019 Lexus RC F
1. Impressive power
If you don’t want to worry about having power when you put your foot down, the 2019 RC F has you covered. It offers a 5.0L V8 engine rated at 467 horsepower and 389 lb-ft of torque. This engine has specially tuned intake and exhaust sounds to ensure you enjoy bringing it up to its 7300-RPM redline.
2. Luxe features available
You may assume a focus on performance has put luxury features on the back burner, but the RC F offers a long list of options to ensure you are comfortable on the road or the track. Available features include heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a power moonroof, leather interior trim, and additional driver aids such as a blind spot monitor and a parking assistant.
3. Some driver aids are standard
Although the high-performance nature of the RC F will have you wanting to drive it more, it’s always good to know there are driver aids on call. The 2019 Lexus RC F is standard with a range of tech including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. This technology is standard on every RC F, relieving you from hunting high and low for an RC F with these features.
4. A focus on track tuning
The RC F is, first and foremost, a machine focused on high-performance driving. It comes equipped with a digital tachometer to keep up with the engine’s rapid revs, while also displaying G-force, gear, and lap times on customizable displays. While the high-performance engine aids in acceleration, Brembo® brakes provide massive stopping power on the road and the track. The brakes also offer a slotted rotor design to reduce brake fade during track driving.
5. Drive Mode Select® and F-Adaptive Variable Suspension®
The RC F offers an advanced F-Adaptive Variable Suspension, which can react in real-time. The system will vary the level of damping depending on road conditions as well as the mode selected. Lexus’s Drive Mode Select system offers five performance driving modes, including a customizable mode so you can fine-tune your 2019 Lexus RC F to your driving preferences.
