Fancy styling, high-tech midsize
The 2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is a five-seat sedan that looks great, rides comfortably, and lets you skip a trip to the gas station when needed. The distinctive sheet metal hides a modern hybrid drivetrain that is quiet but powerful enough for easy highway passing. The slick and modern interior has clever touches like a push-button transmission on the dash, freeing up storage space thanks to the lack of a shifter. Higher trims get seriously luxurious, with fistfuls of standard features. The available power-retractable roof is a statement of its own. Check out the MKZ Hybrid for a smart alternative luxury car.

5 reasons to buy the 2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid
1. Solid hybrid mpg
Driving LA to Seattle in one day? You can do it if you spend less time stopped at gas stations, with the 2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. Under its sculpted hood, a 2.0L inline four-cylinder pairs with an electric motor and lithium-ion battery for 188 horsepower and 129 lb-ft. of torque. Connected to a standard CVT and FWD, the MKZ Hybrid has an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 38 mpg combined.
2. Artwork exterior design
The 2014 Lincoln MKZ looks like nothing else on the road. The chrome split-wing grille flows out to integrate with the headlights. Matched by sweeping lines down the profile, and a racey-looking rear end with an expansive LED tail light running the width of the rear and finished by large chrome exhaust tips. Standard 18- and optional 19-inch alloy wheels are the finishing touch. The MKZ leaves an impression.
3. Available panoramic sunroof
The available fully retractable panoramic roof opens a massive piece of glass into the open air, almost creating the feeling of a targa top or convertible. The power sunroof opens the roof over both rows of seats for maximum space, sun, and wide-open views. Opening and closing take as little as 10 seconds or just open the shade screen for an open feel without the wind.
4. Many standard features
The 2014 MKZ Hybrid has many desirable features even in base Premiere trim. Look for standard features like push-button start and a neat push-button gear selector on the central dash. Standard infotainment is on an eight-inch touchscreen, with Bluetooth® connectivity, two USB ports, a CD player, and an 11-speaker premium sound system. The leather-trimmed seats have 10-way power movement and heating, and the genuine wood accents and leather-wrapped steering wheel match the entry theater lighting.
5. Get your trim
With a choice of Premiere (base), Select, Reserve, and Preferred trims, you can find the MKZ that has the features you want. Select trim includes the items in Premiere plus a rearview camera, ambient lighting, and rear parking sensors. Reserve has all that plus 19-inch wheels, a voice-activated navigation system, ventilated front seats, and a power rear trunk. Finally, the Preferred trim loads up with exclusive wheels, heated steering wheel and rear seats, and a THX® II certified surround sound system with 14 speakers.
