5 reasons to buy the 2017 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid
1. Classy styling
The redesigned grille takes the overall appearance way upmarket with a subtle Lincoln logo-shaped mesh. Flanked by clean, modern LED headlamps, fog lights, and daytime running lights, and accented with minimal chrome trim, it’s a head-turning design. Unique wheel designs add a lot of additional visual spice.
2. Hybrid performance
The standard MKZ Hybrid drivetrain is a 2.0L gas four-cylinder and battery-powered electric motor that work together to quietly glide down the street. Around town, regenerative braking captures up to 94% of brake energy to recharge the battery, and the MKZ Hybrid can travel up to 85 mph on quiet electric power. The standard SmartGauge® driving coach guides you to an EPA-estimated 40 mpg combined.
3. Ford SYNC 3
The smartly designed SYNC 3 infotainment system operates on a standard eight-inch touchscreen. It is bright, high-definition, quick to respond to input, and user-friendly. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity plus two USB charging ports are standard. The available Revel® 14-speaker audio system is impressive, but the Revel Ultima 20-speaker system has listening modes like “audience” and “on stage”, plus Clari-Fi™digital restoration of compressed music.
4. Sport package
The MKZ Hybrid takes a step towards a sports performance trim level with the available Driver’s Package. Standard body-hugging black leather-trimmed front seats show off high-contrast inserts and stitching in bright white. Available carbon fiber trim on the steering wheel, instrument cluster, and doors, plus aluminum sport pedals bring the MKZ Hybrid the visually spicy soul of a sports car with the finesse of a luxury sedan.
5. Expansive options
The MKZ Hybrid has several option packages to make exactly the ride you are looking for. The climate package adds rear heated seats for your passengers and a heated steering wheel for you. The appropriately named luxury package adds adaptive LED headlights and the Revel® 20-speaker sound system with HD radio. Look for the Select Plus package if you want voice-activated navigation. Need more? Check out the Technology package for driver assistance features, plus a windshield wiper de-icer.
