All-new everything
The 2018 Lincoln Navigator L is the start of the model’s fourth generation, and it’s never seen so many fresh features from a redesign. First comes the stunning new-for-2018 exterior design that pushes it from a rebadged, decked-out Ford to a legitimate luxury SUV you’ll love. It also gets an all-new powertrain that borrows Ford’s twin-turbo 3.5L V6 engine and turns it up to 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. This gives it a surprisingly quick zero-to-60 sprint time and allows it to tow with the best of them, all while delivering an exceptional ride and composed handling.

5 reasons to buy the 2018 Lincoln Navigator L
1. Power to spare
The Lincoln Navigator L is more powerful and capable than ever before. Its Ford-sourced twin-turbo 3.5L V6 boasts an impressive 450 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque that flows through a 10-speed automatic transmission. This power allows the massive Navigator L to sprint to 60 mph in under six seconds and tow up to an estimated 8,400 pounds with two-wheel drive when properly equipped.
2. Loads of cargo room
The 2018 Lincoln Navigator L is 11.9 inches longer than the base Navigator, which all goes toward cargo space. The 2018 Navigator L’s 221.9-inch body allows it to haul an impressive 34.3 cu-ft of cargo with all three rows upright. Fold down the third row, and this space expands to 73.3 cu-ft. If you’ve got a big load to haul, you can drop both rear rows and open up a massive 120.2 cu-ft of cargo space. With this much cargo room, you’ll never have to leave anything behind.
3. Loads of technology
The 2018 Lincoln Navigator L’s long list of standard features will never leave you wishing for more. It comes standard with upscale goodies like a digital instrument display, navigation with real-time traffic data, available 4G LTE data services, keyless ignition, a power tailgate, and more. The infotainment system is even more impressive, boasting a 10-inch screen with Ford’s intuitive Sync system, Apple CarPlayⓇ and Android Auto™ integration, smartphone charging pad, and more.
For the audiophile, there’s a standard 14-speaker audio system or the optional 20-speaker system.4. Unmatched comfort
The 2018 Lincoln Navigator delivers everything you’d expect in terms of comfort from a luxury SUV. This all starts with super-comfortable front thrones, which offer plenty of support and softness, ventilation, and optional 30-way power adjustment. The second-row captain's chairs are equally comfortable and are plenty roomy for all sizes, with 41.1 inches of legroom. Even the third-row seats are impressive, with 42.3 inches of legroom. Plus, third-row passengers even get dedicated cupholders and USB ports.
5. Superior ride
Under this luxury SUV’s skin is a well-tuned chassis that does everything surprisingly well. That said, its main claim to fame is its incredible ability to absorb bumps and imperfections in the road — even with the large 22-inch wheels. This suspension easily gobbles up road noise, making your daily commute peaceful and luxurious.
