Sixth generation Toyota Camry
The sixth-generation Toyota Camry midsize sedan debuted for the 2018 model year as a completely new model. The standard drivetrain included front-wheel drive and a four-cylinder gas engine, with a fuel-efficient hybrid or a powerful V6 available. Beginning in 2020, Toyota offered all-wheel drive as an option.
The 10 trim levels range from basic to sporty and luxurious models. Beginning in the 2020 model year, Toyota made an performance-oriented TRD (Toyota Racing Development) trim level that included a retuned suspension, sport exhaust, and a few cosmetic touches.
The 2020 model year Camry received several updates, adding support for Android Auto™ and new 7-inch or 9-inch touchscreen infotainment displays. The 2021 Camry received Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.5+, which includes a pre-collision system with emergency steering assistance and updated adaptive cruise control with curve speed management.

Fifth generation Toyota Camry
For the fifth generation, the 2012 Toyota Camry was redesigned with an eye toward sporty design before it received another visual update in 2014, with even sleeker styling. However it was styled, the basics of the Camry midsize sedan remained the same, with comfortable seating for five in five trims ranging from basic to luxurious. Earlier models had a somewhat clunky infotainment interface, but that was improved in 2014 with better smartphone integration, although this generation preceded technology like Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. A touchscreen with straightforward menus was available on some models.
The fifth-generation Camry is strictly front-wheel drive, powered by a standard four-cylinder engine, a fuel-conscious hybrid, or a powerful V6 option. All engines were paired with automatic transmissions.
