2019 Toyota Camry review

Finally, a hybrid that doesn't look like a hybrid. The 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid features a 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine using gasoline, paired with an AC motor using battery power. The result is 208 hp and some genuine driving fun from the continuously variable transmission, which has a sport-shifting mode with simulated gears. It's not just fun and games, though—the 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE gets an EPA-estimated 52 mpg combined.

2. Extra roomy for passengers

The 2019 Toyota Camry is technically a midsize sedan, but take a seat in the front or back and you'll swear it's larger. There's 38.3 inches of headroom up front and 38 inches for rear-seat passengers. That means that even your 6'5" friends can comfortably fit in the 2019 Camry. Plus, there's a 15.1 cu-ft trunk—equivalent to a compact crossover's cargo room or a large chest-style deep freezer.
