5 reasons to buy the 2016 Toyota Camry
1. Spacious and comfortable interior
The 2016 Toyota Camry has a roomy interior, with five seats that provide good support and a comfortable ride for front and rear passengers. Cloth upholstery is standard, and leatherette, leather, and heated seats are available. Front headroom measures 38.8 inches and rear headroom is 38.1 inches, which is decent for taller passengers. Legroom is generous as well, with 41.6 inches in the front and 38.9 inches in the back.
2. Wide array of standard features
When it comes to equipment, the 2016 Toyota Camry has plenty of standard features on all trims. For starters, it has automatic headlights and heated mirrors, as well as a rearview camera. The Camry also has air conditioning and an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, which is especially handy for long out-of-town trips or commutes. Cruise control is also standard on the 2016 Camry.
3. Great connectivity and infotainment options
If connectivity and entertainment features are important to you, the Camry has you covered. The Entune™ infotainment system is standard on all trims, with the base 2016 Toyota Camry LE trim featuring a 6.1-inch touchscreen (higher trims have larger screens). Bluetooth® phone and audio connectivity are standard, as is Siri® Eyes Free. You'll also get an auxiliary audio input and USB port. Looking for more? The Special Edition trim adds Entune Audio Plus and wireless smartphone charging.
4. Potent engine options and a refined ride
The 2016 Toyota Camry is available with two engine options: a standard 2.5L four-cylinder that generates 178 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque, and a 3.5L V6 that generates 268 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque (available on XSE and XLE trims). Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive is standard on all trims. Thanks to the great suspension and responsive steering, the ride is smooth and quiet, making it great for long journeys.
5. Generous cargo space
The 2016 Toyota Camry offers a generous amount of cargo space for a midsize car. It has 15.4 cu-ft behind the rear seats—enough to fit one large suitcase and a couple of smaller ones, or several grocery bags. Inside, you'll get a large center console bin, and the rear seats fold down for increased cargo capacity.
