Great Car - 2016 BMW 535I Xdrive
Great accessories. Recommend you take a BMW purchased from CARMAX to a BMW dealership for a "once-over." BMWs are "very particular" vehicles. For example, CARMAX changed the oil prior to delivery (for free - a good deal), however, the filter and oil were NOT BMW, causing a leak. Fortunately caught the problem early; CARMAX paid for BMW to change oil and filter
Pros
- Power:
- Styling:
- Technology and Entertainment:
great car, easy process
This is a great car, well designed and engineered. The sport modes are amazing. The comfort mode is luxury in motion. I have hardly used the eco mode, since I’m getting 31 mpg, anyway.
Pros
- Technology and Entertainment: Great sound from the entertainment system. GPS is user friendly.
- Fuel Economy: 31.5 mpg with power
- Ride and Handling: Sport mode gives sports car handling. Comfort mode provides luxury car ride. Hard to believe you can get both in one car.
Cons
- Braking:
Super fun to drive – practical sports car?
I tried a lot of cars at CarMax but once I saw this one - and the price - I was in love. The test drive was so much fun and it has continued to be a thrill, coming from a Toyota Camry and before that a Smartcar! It's sporty, very nice inside, and yet also big enough to comfortably fit four adults. So far I'm really like it.
Pros
- Ride and Handling: So much fun and responsive for a sedan. Goes fast!
- Interior Space: Very slick, modern. More sporty than luxury but feels very comfortable and well appointed.
- Value: For a BMW, the pricing felt great and I feel like I definitely am getting my money's worth.
Cons
- Cost to Maintain: Definitely more expensive than, say, a Toyota.
- Technology and Entertainment: Was a little disappointed that the iDrive system is tied to the model and can't be updated to newer version for a better look.
- Cargo Space: Trunk is a bit small.
