Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.666666666666667 reviews) Pros: - Almost everything about this car is a pro. - It gets EXCELLENT gas mileage. I get 38mpg on the interstate at 70+mph and up to 45mpg in the city driving. - It is small but has amazing storage space when the back seats are folded down. When seat are up, it can carry four people easy. Roof is high for tall people but leg room is fine but might be tight for tall people. Trunk space when seats are up is VERY SMALL, but this isn't a car that you will be traveling with 4 people and 4 people's luggage anyway. - Driving this car is pretty fun for such a small car. It can accelerate very quickly. Only Con is that it isn't a quiet car. The tires make lots of road noise.

It took awhile to figure out the computer and its' many different screens and displays (haven't got them all yet) but it is a kick to drive. It handles very good, has plenty of pep and good visibility - no blind spots. The seats are comfortable, and for a car its' size the ride is smooth and quiet. I have recommended it to my friends.

Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.659090909090909 reviews) This just a fantastic car, incredible features make it lots of fun to drive, and the comfort and room is generous. The car is tall, and there is lots of head room and seats sit high, like on a larger vehicle. It is very easy to get in and out of the car. SO much is well designed and easy to use. The back seat is quite roomy, even a car seat would fit back there. We love this car more than any car we've had, and we have been married 38 years. That's a lot of cars. It feels like a luxury vehicle. Even the side mirrors have defrosting. We LOVE this car, and think Ford did an outstanding job. Consumer Reports gave it a black dot, but we listened to our mechanic who looked at HIS publications which said mechanics are impressed with it.

About the Ford C-Max

Vehicle Summary

Available in both plug-in hybrid and regular hybrid models, the Ford C-Max is Ford's foray into the electric vehicle market. The Ford C-Max, however, has a lot more to offer than just its hybrid engine, including an abundance of cargo space, impressive acceleration, and a refined, upscale cabin. Though the Ford C-Max was discontinued in the United States following the release of the 2018 model, used Ford C-Max models still remain a popular choice in the used automotive market. If you are looking for a well-rounded hybrid midsize SUV, purchasing a used Ford C-Max from CarMax is an excellent option to consider.

Wonderful car at a great price!Comparable to Priu

This just a fantastic car, incredible features make it lots of fun to drive, and the comfort and room is generous. Consumer Reports gave it a black dot, but we listened to our mechanic who looked at HIS publications which said mechanics are impressed with it.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy:
  • Ride and Handling:
  • Value:

Cons

  • Cargo Space: The only downside is the small cargo space. But the seats do go down for more room and there should be no problem for 2 people.

- Stephen Shaw, 2013 Ford C-MAX

Exactly what I wanted in a small hatchback style car. Amazing MPG.

Pros: - Almost everything about this car is a pro. - It gets EXCELLENT gas mileage. I get 38mpg on the interstate at 70+mph and up to 45mpg in the city driving. - It is small but has amazing storage space when the back seats are folded down.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: Great gas mileage: 38-45mpg
  • Interior Space: All the space in the world when back seats are folded down. Not so much if you need to carry 4 people though.
  • Ride and Handling: Handles like a sports car. Acceraltion is instantaneous with the torque of the electric motor.

Cons

  • Cabin Noise: More cabin noise than normal due to low friction tires.

- Matthew Lehman, 2013 Ford C-MAX

Fantastic car at a great price from a top-notch salesperson.

Absolutely love this car. We have been driving it for 3 months now and tow it behind our motor-home.

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: Twice the mileage as our last car.
  • Technology and Entertainment: Great sound system and so many informative screens
  • Styling: So much better looking than other Hybrids.
