Exactly what I wanted
PROS
Cargo Space
The size of the bed is satisfactory for this class of truck, and the in-bed trunk is real game changer. When the back seats are folded up there is also a generous amount of cargo space there.
Ride and Handling
The ride is very smooth compared to other trucks in the segment. The unibody frame really shines here. It feels confident in sharp turns when putting around town and is very comfortable when cruising on the highway.
Fuel Economy
I recently took my Ridgeline on a roughly 260-mile drive to Watkins Glen NY without stopping for gas. By the time I got to Watkins Glenn, I still had a quarter tank left, which was pretty impressive to me. Overall, the fuel economy is pretty good for a V6 truck of its size, both around town and on the highway.
CONS
Seat Comfort
The cloth seats on the Sport trim leave something to be desired in the area of comfort. Definitely would have sprung for the RTL trim if I was willing to spend a little more.
Technology and Entertainment
The Android Auto is a bit fickle. I sometimes have to reconnect once or twice after turning the car on just to get apps like Spotify to work.
Styling
The body stye for this generation is definitely showing its age, doubly so for the interior. It's certainly not ugly, but this generation is going to be blown out of the water by the next generation, especially if it's styled the same as the new Honda Passport.
