Transmission failed after purchase

Fuel Economy
When it was running properly, the gas mileage was excellent and one of the reasons I chose this car.
Ride and Handling
Comfortable for daily commuting with a smooth ride when it wasn’t experiencing mechanical issues.
CONS
Reliability
The car shut down within the first month of ownership and soon after began hesitating and stalling. Hyundai has now diagnosed it as needing a new transmission at only 40,000+ miles.
Power
A transmission replacement this early in the vehicle’s life is disappointing, especially after only owning it a few months.
