van life aint for me

I bought this vehicle because I needed to turn my rental in. My insurance company wouldn't continue paying for the rental even though I hadn't reached the 1500$/30 day limit. I was out of time. I knew this vehicle wouldn't be able to hold ALL my children, but I believed it was going to be big enough for all 4 car seats. It isn't. the trunk space may be deep, but it truly doesn't hold enough for my large family. When the seats fold down they don't lay flush so its hard to fit large objects. The 3rd row cannot fir 2 car seats and my extremely petite 8 year old. the 2nd row cannot fit 3 car seats. I am very limited on space. There isn't a lot of leg room and the doors take FOREVER to open and close. The doors are extremely heavy and hard to open when put in manual mode. 2nd row is not ideal for rear facing as the door doesn't open all the way to allow you to safely put child in with out contorting them into weird positions. The van does not handle well at high speeds or in bad weather conditions. when the wind is high the van is all over the road.

PROS
Fuel Economy

not sure if it's because I'm driving less or the gas mileage is high, but a tank lasts me a lot longer now.

CONS
Cargo Space

it may be deep but due to the door you can't stack a lot. would be better if the window on the back door opened.

Interior Space

not wide enough for multiple car seats/large families

Ride and Handling

all over the road in high wind conditions
