Regret my purchase
Had this car for a little less than six months, So far the Ambient Lighting went out, The Drivers seat stitching has come lose, The AC coil Went out, the infotainment screen went Black no Radio/Navi/Phone/Backup camera. I loved this car when I bought It but the love is gone

Regret
Owned less than six months so far, the infotainment screen has gone black, No phone/navi/back up camera/radio, Ambient lighting has stopped working, Ac coil went needed to be replaced and seat stitching on drivers seat came lose seat cover had to be replaced So over this car

Major build quality problems
PROS
Interior Space
Best in class second row leg room and space for rear facing child seats.
Technology and Entertainment
Nice interior, infotainment.

Best looking SUV in its class.

Reliability
Horrible build quality issues. AC evaporator broke and needed to be replaced; would have been $7k out of warranty. Took 3 weeks and involved ripping apart the entire dashboard / steering column, all the way to the engine bay. Watch youtube for how complex and insane the build design is.
Power
Power of the 350 is pretty weak. Undersized 2.0L turbo for a 2.5 ton SUV just doesn't work on the GLE, but it's solid for the GLC300 (I've owned both). Still eats up gas.
Cost to Maintain
This thing just chews through brake pads and rotors (both need to be replaced each time). It is just big, heavy, unwieldy, and it both feels that way dynamically and wears out all corresponding parts.
