I bought my 2005 SLK350 in April 2010. It is now Jan 2011 and the love affair continues. Its great fun to own and drive. With the auto hard top I can open or close it while at a stop light. Just a very good looking car with a lot of power without feeling like it is ever out of control. Very tempting to speed and if you are a speeder a good radar detector is recommended. The cup holder is in an odd place, but you should not be drinking and eating a lot slobbing up your nice car. I did not find a long trip a big deal nor did my passenger. The seats are super comfortable and adjust to just about any position possible. Do find the right lumbar support setting for you. Cruise control and using the cruise control as a gas pedal are really useful on long trips. But it is the perfect little roadster and I use mine mainly to commute to work and run around the beach on the weekends with the top down. Really wonderful if you are in the market for the best looking roadster on the road today.
SLK350, great summer ride as a daily driver

I had a 1999 SLK that I traded in with 150k miles on it. So, it was time for a change. I considered lots of other cars, coupes' and sedans but in the end, another SLK was where I kept coming back to. More than any other car I test drove, I smile when I get in, and when I get out. Could't say that about the others.
