2005 Mercedes-Benz SLK350Top Down - , 07/06/2014
Very happy with my 2005 SLK350. The 3.5L V6 w/Sport Package has excellent handling characteristics. Body roll is minimal. Acceleration is very good, but your not the fastest car from 0-60 mph. The engine sounds great. It has a broad, flat torque curve. You have power in any gear. You want the Air Scarf. Trunk space is good, even with the top down, though you need to raise the top to insert/remove larger items.
The manual shifter is good. Later model SLK350s up the power on the 3.5L V6, but it's only available in an automatic. Lower numbered SLKs offer a manual, but the engine is a 3.0L V6.
