What can you say about an AMG Mercedes? You get great European styling with amazing performance and the comfort of a luxury car. It is an absolute joy to drive. The only thing to be aware of is the maintenance cost. These cars brand new approach the $100k mark. A car like that is not going to be cheap to maintain although surprisingly there are many things you can do yourself if you are mechanically inclined. I'm looking forward to driving this car for many years to come and look forward to purchasing another Mercedes in the future.
fun car but expensive to maintain. first off, after purchasing my vehicle, i had to get my service A1. it costed me ~$300. the dealer then turn around and told me i need a new brake. front and back. the car only had less than 20,000 miles. looked up a forum, many people change their brakes right around that time. dealer says ~$900. just for the front. benz brake pads (original, parts only) cost ~$500 front ~$300 for rear. so make sure you have some extra cash when you play with this car.
The W211 body has great lines, and graced with good looks, one of Mercedes Benz all time greats. Not to mention the wolf hiding under the hood ready to pounce on anyone, that is not aware what ///AMG stands for. The ///AMG brand is the pinnacle of Mercedes Benz luxury and performance. Keep in mind that these cars cost well over $100,000 when brand new, so the maintenance cost aren't cheap. But a DIYer can mitigate those costs. I simply can't express how awesome this car truly is, tons of power and torque. With the exclusivity of what ///AMG represents. If you want to move four adults anywhere quickly, while riding down the road in a land yacht, this is the car for you.
