An awesome truck!
PROS
Reliability
I used to own a truck years ago and swore that I would always have one for the activities that I do (gardening, dump runs, carrying musical instruments, etc). Life chose otherwise and I didn’t have a truck for a few years. Finally I acquired the Tacoma and have been thrilled. It’s comfortable enough, it’s so reliable, and a pleasure to drive.
Ride and Handling
It’s very fun to drive (plenty of power) and easy to maneuver when parallel parking etc.
Cargo Space
The shorter bed is ideal for my needs.
CONS
Seat Comfort
The seat and headrest don’t adjust much, so sitting on a pillow is necessary for me to be comfortable.
Fuel Economy
It’s a truck, so the fuel economy isn’t great. That’s not specifically a Tacoma issue, but with the latest gas prices, the cost does add up quickly.
Interior Space
There is very little leg room in the second row of seats.

the heads up display and large infotainment panel are a nice touch of luxury. the 360 camera view, and Toyota safety features are beneficial. the lane trace assist with adaptive cruise control is an amazing feature.
Weather Versatility
handles well in rainstorms, off road, in the sand, and in very dusty settings
Styling
I love the aggressive look. it’s bigger than the previous generation but it still fits in my garage. no full size truck with a back seat can do that.
