2015 Cadillac XTS review

1. Spacious and high-quality cabin 

The 2015 Cadillac XTS is just as full-size on the inside as it appears on the outside. There’s seating for up to five passengers, with generous legroom for all occupants — 42.1 inches in the front, and 40 inches in the back. As everyone stretches out and gets comfortable, they’ll also love the numerous luxury touches and creature comforts available as standard, including dual-zone automatic climate control and leather seating surfaces. 

2. Cavernous trunk 

The spacious theme of the 2015 Cadillac XTS is matched by an equally capacious trunk. You and all your passengers will appreciate the generous 18 cu-ft of cargo volume behind the rear seats, plenty enough to store everyone’s luggage with room to spare. Additionally, 60/40 split-folding rear seats are included as standard, meaning you can also fold them flat to open up more cargo space when required — useful for transporting large items such as furniture. 

3. Strong optional turbocharged V6 

Two engine choices are available for the 2015 Cadillac XTS, and if power is important to you, the optional twin-turbocharged engine is a great choice. It packs a meaty 410 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, and all models with this engine also include a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. This combination can provide both smooth power delivery for highway cruising, as well as awesome acceleration, with a zero to 60 mph time of just 5.4 seconds.  

4. Smooth ride meets sharp handling 

The theme of balance between comfort and excitement continues into the chassis, with the 2015 XTS including adaptive suspension and dampers as standard. It’s ideally suited for providing a smooth ride for everyday driving, yet can also firm up the handling for when you want to have some fun on a twisty back road. Pair this up with the aforementioned all-wheel-drive and turbo V6 engine, and you have a comfortable cruiser that’s also capable of putting a big smile on your face.

With numerous tech and convenience features offered as standard, the 2015 XTS is well-equipped across the board. Even base models include Bluetooth® connectivity, the Cadillac User Experience™ infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen display, an available Wi-Fi hotspot with 4G LTE connectivity, and an eight-speaker Bose® sound system.
