All trims of the 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid have the same 104-hp 1.6L engine paired with a 43-hp electric motor and lithium-ion battery. System output is 139 hp with 195 lb-ft of torque, the power transferred to the pavement by a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Wherever you’re heading, paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel on SEL and Limited trims give you more control over the driving experience. These achieve an EPA-estimated 55 mpg combined.

Whatever trim you choose, the 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid is a feature-rich compact family car. The Ioniq Hybrid Blue trim has proximity key entry with push button start, door handle approach lights, a rearview camera, climate control, USB ports, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto integration™ , Bluetooth® connectivity, HD Radio®, steering wheel paddle shifters, and a seven-inch color touchscreen. The SEL trim adds heated front seats, a seven-inch digital driver display, and for 2019, includes the previously available Tech package. The Limited trim includes a power tilt-and-slide sunroof, leather seats, HID xenon headlights with high beam assist, and new driver-assist features.
3. Easy-to-use interior
Step inside the 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid and you’ll find an easy-to-use interior. Placement of the most often used controls is logical and there are lots of large buttons, with a row of nicely designed toggle-type switches beneath the central color touchscreen. The touchscreen is high resolution with relatively easy-to-navigate software menus and the "driver-only" setting on the climate control system is very neat when you’re on a solo drive and are thinking frugally.

Whether you’re dropping off the kids at school, driving to the hardware store, or taking the family to visit relatives, the cabin of the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid has lots of practical room. Up front, there's 42.2 inches of legroom, while rear passengers have 35.7 inches, as well as 37.4 inches of headroom. The trunk has 26.5 cu-ft of luggage space and the rear seats fold 60/40 for added cargo and passenger flexibility.
