Currently in its seventh generation, the 2019 Hyundai Sonata is freshly redesigned for the 2018 model year. Even without the changes, the 2019 model remains exciting and fresh. The design features a sporty sloping roofline, enlarged grille, and aggressive haunches that help create a more luxurious look. It's a modern and stylish exterior that's met with a comfortable interior and intelligent cockpit design.
No matter what you need from a midsize sedan, the Sonata has you covered with a model that fits your lifestyle requirements. There are a plethora of trims, features, and technological benefits available, starting with the base SE and continuing to the technology-laden Sonata plug-in hybrid. The Sonata comes in five trim configurations (SE, Eco, SEL, Limited, and Sport) and two hybrid models are also available, including a plug-in hybrid.
Hyundai's available Blue Link communications hub system keeps you connected. The system tracks, links, and provides notifications your vehicle. It also utilizes mobile apps to provide remote start, stop, and lock or unlock functionality. In addition, Blue Link features Destination Send-To-Car by Google™. Ancillary features include enhanced roadside assistance and a panic button feature that is designed to alert friends and family via text message.
The 2019 Hyundai Sonata makes technology available for all. Even at the base SE model, connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is standard, as are features such as keyless entry and automatic headlights. Higher trim configurations receive bells and whistles like hands-free trunk access, heated front seats, and more. Hyundai tech isn't limited to convenience features, though. There's also a long list of driver aid components, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring.
It might not look roomy, thanks to that stylish sloping roofline, but the 2019 Hyundai Sonata offers ample space for you as the driver, your passengers, and cargo. Inside the cabin, the 2019 Sonata provides 40.4 inches of space in the front row and 38 inches in the rear. There's also 45.5 inches of legroom in the front and 35.6 inches in the rear. Hip room measures 55.3 inches in front and 56.1 inches in back. Cargo-wise, the 2019 Sonata has 16.3 cubic feet of trunk space, with a pass-through for longer items. Hands-free trunk access is also available.
