Legit luxury sport sedan
In previous years, the Q50 has offered decent performance from its two V6 powertrain options. However, it was never a true sports sedan. The 2016 model year changed all that with a new RedSport 400 model that adds a turbocharged 3.0L V6 to the mix with 400 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. The Q50 also has styling to ensure it doesn’t just blend into the background, but it’s restrained enough to avoid feeling overstyled. It features just the right amount of curves, creases, and angles. It also boasts a clean, clutter-free cabin to round out its great looks.

The 2016 Infiniti Q60 gets a whole new lineup of engine options, ranging from relatively mild to wild. These engines are sure to meet whatever needs you have in your next vehicle. The base engine is a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 208 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The midrange powerplant is a 3.0L turbocharged V6 that delivers 300 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Topping the range is a retuned version of the turbocharged 3.0L V6 that delivers 400 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque.
2. Balanced performance
There’s no doubt the 2016 Infiniti Q50 performs well at all levels, but it’s also sure to please you with its respectable EPA-estimated fuel economy numbers. The Q50 hybrid leads the pack with its 28 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined with front-wheel drive. Add all-wheel drive, and the hybrid’s mileage dips to 27 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 28 mpg combined.

With the 3.0L engine and front-wheel drive, the Q50 delivers 19 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined. Opt for the hybrid model, and it pushes these numbers to 28 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined.3. A pleasure to look at inside and out
The Infiniti Q50 was always a great-looking vehicle, and its refresh for the 2016 model year only makes it even more stunning. Like previous models, the revised Q50 boasts sharp body lines, clean angles, and a swooping silhouette. This design allows it to stand out among other luxury sedans, but Infiniti was careful not to go over the top with its styling. Infiniti continued the stunning looks inside the Q50, where you’ll be pleased to find a sweeping asymmetrical design with minimal visual distractions and a plethora of premium materials, such as real wood and aluminum accents.
4. Comfortable interior
You want your luxury sedan to be comfortable and quiet on your daily commute, and the 2016 Infiniti Q50 offers that in spades. The cabin is well-insulated, keeping outside noises and engine sources muted, and its interior materials are second to none. Add to that the Q50’s standard “zero-gravity” seats that deliver excellent support on long hauls. You also get plenty of trunk space in non-hybrid models at 13.5 cu-ft. That’s more than enough for a few sets of golf clubs or a week’s worth of groceries.
5. Tons of desirable features
The 2016 Infiniti Q50 will meet all your expectations as a luxury sedan with its long list of standard features. For the audiophile, it comes standard with a six-speaker audio system and has an available 14-speaker premium audio system for those seeking even better sound. Other standard features include the InTouch infotainment system, power front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, synthetic leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and more. Want even more features? The Q50 has numerous packages and options to dress it up to your liking.
