Jaguar XF
The Jaguar XF is a midsize luxury sedan with a variety of engine and trim options. The second-generation XF, sold in the United States from 2016 to 2024, was considered an attractive and luxurious option at a lower price point than other European sport sedans. At its launch in 2016, the XF offered two supercharged V6 engine options rated at 340 horsepower and 380 horsepower. These engines were paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and the buyer's choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Jaguar later added turbodiesel and turbocharged four-cylinder options.

Second generation Jaguar XF
The Jaguar XF is a performance and luxury midsize sedan designed to compete with similar offerings from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo. For several years, a station wagon Sportbrake body was available in addition to the sedan. With comfortable seating for up to five passengers, the XF carried on Jaguar's tradition of opulent sedans with the same engine offerings that powered the brand's sports cars. Notably, the XF was generally priced a bit under other European competitors, making it a lower-cost option with appealing styling. By the end of production, XF models featured standard adaptive cruise control and an 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Power came from supercharged V6 engines at the beginning of its long production cycle, but Jaguar transitioned to the new Ingenium turbocharged four-cylinder engine by the end of the generation. For a few years, a fuel-efficient four-cylinder turbodiesel was also available. The XF always came with an eight-speed automatic transmission, with the buyer's choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
